Long slides popularity
Are they that unpopular? Or is it because this forum is so hard to find? I thought this forum would have more traffic than it does.

This subforum has never been that popular.... and its almost self-fulfilling... lots of people know about it but, due to the low traffic here, nobody posts anything here! Its a vicious circle.

The G34/G35 guns are fairly popular for use in IDPA and other competitions, and due to this popularity, it's relatively easy to find holsters and accessories for them.
The longest longslides (G17L and G24/G24C) are either not allowed in certain competitions, or are limited to the highest classes, making them less popular with match shooters. Because of this, it can be more difficult to find holsters and accessories for them, which makes them (you guessed it), less popular (even with non-competitive shooters). It's another vicious circle...

I was looking to buy a G 34 but due to the availability of 40 SW ammo, I bought a G 35 instead. I really like the ease of reach in the new mag release and the extended slide release.
I am looking for some range gear as I do not have time to compete and will probably never carry this as a CCS. Any suggestions? My initial thought is comp-tac?
Do you guys reload for these? I also bought a new Lee pro 1000 for 40 S&W

I love my long-slide Glocks! G34, G17L, G24C.
