Fastfire III v aimpoint micro
Looking for a little advice. I need a redot for blasting pigs, looking for something light and durable. It appears they weigh about the same. Anyone have an experience with both.

If you can afford an Aimpoint T1, but choose to buy something else, you have made a mistake. I have a lot of experience with red dot and reflex optics. I currently own 5, and have been issued one type or another for the last decade. Everything I have ever used has a downside except the T1.

This is the big question, honestly. However...

Absolutely - especially with the new 2MOA dot version available.

I think you may have a hard time finding someone who has first hand experience with the Fastfire III. It is a new model and I have not been able to find it anywhere. Brownell's shows the pic rail version due in stock later this month, and the version for dovetail slide mounting won't be in stock until late March. I know this because I have been looking for one for a Glock open build I am working on. I like the new features of the III, and price point, better than the C-More STS.

Get the Aimpoint,no question.
I have a Burris Fastfire II, and its okay but Aimpoints much more durable and reliable.

Aimpoint for sure.
Even the full size Aimpoints are tough, light and have superior optics and would be ideal on an AR.
A buddy of mine has this one on his and it's awesome, plus it's a lot cheaper than the Micro. I think the two ring mounting system is also more rugged than single screw on the bottom of the Micro.
