G4 19, original RSA, ejector, etc. Several thousand rounds now, no jams of any kind. Occasional brass to head but very rarely. I'll throw the new ejector in if I can ever get ahold of one but I'm not stressing over having the original one.

gen 4 G26 = no problems (no upgrades)
gen 4 G27 = no problems (no upgrades)
gen 4 G23 = no problems (no upgrades)
gen 4 G19 = a little eratic ejection at first, changed ammo and it went away (all latest upgraded parts)

G4 17
Bought new at end of Summer.
Came with the newer RSA
But has the older ejector.

1 stove pipe early on.
No jams since.
Occasional brass to the head.

Good accuracy (with pics)

G19 new this week 200 rounds no issues all upgraded parts.

G23 one of the older ones had erratic ejections at first, left - head - shoulder - dented brass - you name it. Factory sent RSA replacement, helped some but after 1500 or so rounds it cured itself.

I have new ejector on order from a Glock armorer but will not be installing it in the G23 at this point.

Gen 4 17 with zero problems.

Family member had an early gen 4 19 that had a ton of problems. I'm an Armorer and changed out all the culprit parts, however those efforts failed and the gun still misbehaved. Gun went back to the factory and was replaced.

Before I purchase my next G19 and /or G26, I'd like to know how widespread the "problem" really is.

Let's do a quick survey. Gen4 Glock owners only please:

1. Which model(s) do you own?

2. Which fits your situation:
A. I have no problem with this handgun
B. I have ejection problems with this handgun
C. I had ejection problems, Glock (or armorer) fixed it, and it now rocks.

G23

I picked up my GEN4 G23 in March of last year and have had zero issues with it.I think this is the problem version but I havent had any erratic ejections or ftf's or any other problems.I have shot mostly the UMC and WWB all 180gr.It shoots great.

I have a Gen 4 G17, PPR series, originally equipped with an "0-4" guide rod and 336 ejector.

I had about 4K through it before it went back to Glock for FTE and other inconsistent ejection issues.

Glock replaced the ejector with the 30274 series and also replaced the extractor. I'd also previously done the RSA upgrade.

I have about 8K through it now since it went back to Smyrna, 12K in total, and it's just now starting to throw the odd casing (1 in 500) back square between my eyes.

I have 3 Gen 4's.

G17 gen 4: erratic ejection problems and brass to the face , no I didn't limp wrist. Changed to the latest RSA, problems solved!

G23 gen 4: Brass to the face, switched to the most recent RSA, still brass to the face. Next step change ejector. To be continued....

G21 gen 4: Flawless from day one!

I am picking up a G27 gen 4, as soon as I get my next handgun permit. From all I've heard they are good to go.

I like the new grip profile and larger mag release of the gen 4. I just wish they would have left the rest alone. That being said I foresee myself buying more gen 4's. While tweaking a brand new gun can be time consuming and a pain in the ass, Glock has some of the best customer service out there, and make dealing with problems as pleasant as can be!

G23 Gen4. So perfect, that it may be the best gun I have ever shot. Zero issues and works exactly how it should.

1. GEN3 G19-erratic ejections, rounds to the face/head, tearing brass up. Could not be fixed by Glock. Replaced with GEN4 G19.
2. GEN4 G19- good to go until about 2000 rounds. Extractor replaced by me with a non-dip old style extractor gun seems working again. Threw in a Lone Wolff singls spring RSA with adapter gun works even with Fderal Champion.
