I'm assuming that MOB means middle of back? Are you sure you want to carry there?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

long time ago, i too thought of a G26 in MOB or SOB would be perfect. for me, i found strong side, 3:00 to 4:00 was much better choice. everyone is different, but i HAD to try it before i could be convinced that my choice wasn't the best. give it a try.
for the MOB or SOB, i'd try a kydex holster, as i found a leather holster had too much drag/friction for me to access weapon easily.

Carrying MOB is dangerous for you backbone.
Not recommended IMO.

Awesome, I appreciate the feedback, I have not purchased a MOB (Middle Of Back) yet, I'm on the fence between The Galco MOB 286B and the Galco Summer Comfort. I thought MOB would fit my body style a little better than an IWB holster. I understand the cons of the MOB (takes a little longer to get to it). I just thought the MOB would be a little more comfortable. Any and ALL comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

I had a Galco SOB for my Colt 1991A1 and just sold it. You couldn't sit in a chair or drive with that thing behind you. I'm much more comfortable with an IWB at 3 to 4 o'clock.

Thanks for the reply jb1911, after reading the other post I am re evaluating my decision to carry MOB. I think the consensus to carry strong hand 3-4 o'clock. Any recommendations on a good IWB holster? Thank you

I have a G27 I carry in an Galco SOB; actually at about 5o'clock. I find it one of my most comfortable holsters and at 5 o'clock, not a problem when sitting back or in the car.
Just my opinion.

I knew a guy who carried a Walter PPK in a small of the back holster, though maybe it should have been called the large of his back.
Whenever he would lean forward, the pistol would become exposed and would remain exposed as his shirt of jacket slid down again. He would have no idea it happened.
I used to typically carry at 4 o'clock. Now that I have gained about 40 pounds, it kind of sticks out to far there. Now, I carry at around 2:30 with an IWB holster.
Like other old broken down guys, I have to adapt to my changing dimensions.
