Just picked up an old Jericho 941

At least I think it's one of the older ones. It's a 9mm full size H-3 and was one of the original imports by KBI. Serial 00988X.

It's extremely ergonomic and fits nicely in my hand; almost like a mold. I have seen models that have a frame mounted decocker and I wish mine had that but it works just fine.

Does anyone know who makes sights for them? Mine looked pretty banged up and I'd even settle for new factory ones. I've never owned a 75b but I hear this is a close clone.

Onto the pics:

Sexiest post I've seen in a very long time. Excellent photos, really showed everything I would want to see.

They were made by Tangfolio, so they should take Witness mags and are pretty similar to the 75s.

Thanks fellas. The aftermarket is nonexistent for this gun but I knew that well before buying it. It's a great gun as-is, the only thing I'd want to upgrade is the sights.

Apparently it can also run 75b mags (although some may not lock on last round) so that's a benefit. Some major differences are that the 941 utilizes polygonal rifling and weighs a lot more (over 2 lbs!) but luckily this gun is strictly a range plinker.

It's funny because I used to own a lot more polymer guns but lately all I want are full steel ones lol.

Perhaps Meprolight.

I'd call first. The rear sights on my Charles Daly import look very different.

Thanks March, I will have to contact them.

I'll have to shamefully admit that the first time I saw this gun it was featured as the main character's weapon of choice and I have been itching to own one since (Cowboy Bepop circa 2000 during college).

The detail of the gun was amazing.

How much do these go for? I think I am interested in picking one up for my firearm collection.

Not all Jericho has poly rifling. IIRC.

The frame safety version of this gun is standard issue in our police, and apart from weight, not too many complaints come up.

MSRP is $649; I paid $550 used, from original owner.

Thanks for the correction oldnoob. Can't always trust Wiki afterall lol.

Lior, I've also read that, does the Israeli military issue it as well? Thanks for the info.

I wish I had the frame mounted version! The decocker on the slide protrudes a lot further out than my other guns; makes racking the slide a bit more painful as I have yet to find a comfortable hand position.

Not as far as I know. There are few issued pistols in the IDF these days - mainly G19Cs and Sig 228s.

Either way that's too much. I can buy a Glock 21 NIB for $550.00 at the my LGS. I was just looking at it Friday.

Lol, that's great but I didn't want a G21, I've been looking for this particular pistol for a while now. They don't come up often here in Tampa at all.

I don't get your logic.

"Hey nice gun but for that price you could have bought X, Y, or Z."

Lol.

I like it. Doesn't matter what you paid for it if you enjoy it. Steel 9mm pistols are sexy as hell.

I agree with you I have no idea what the relevance is to a g21.... My problem is that brand new ones can easily be bought for around $500. Msrp means nothing.. I don't mean to be disrespectful but that was a big over pay.

I understand where you're coming from. I tried haggling his asking price of $599 down to 500 but he wouldn't budge.

If someone wants something bad enough they will pay for it, which is exactly what I did lol. No regrets here though, I absolutely love this gun!

Thanks Fox, my sentiments exactly.

Plus having a decent tax refund helped out a little.
