got a gen 3. G17 mint condition, production date 04/2004 last weekend and from the first mag it had erratic ejection, every 10-15rds brass to the head or right shoulder (shootingh right handed), installed the new 30274 nistead of the old factory installed 336, problem solved, no issues anymore!

so where did you get this elusive 30274 ejector?

Anyway to order the ejectors or non-LCI extractors with the 15 degree cut to be imported into the USA?

i don't know if that would be economic and reasonable, cause the price for handling and shipping will exceed the parts price by far.

i think the better and cheaper way would be to sit and wait (also i know that's very hard) till they are available in masses in the states.

in austria i get my parts directly from the LE/MIL support unit, so i can't really say anything 'bout the civilian shops, but i suppose there are some that have them in stock, but my experience with them is, that 95% of the owners know much less than the standard user at glock talk, most of the shop owners won't even know that there are different ejectors and extractors in one gen. of a glock

Glock no longer sells non-LCI extractors with the angle cut in the USA.
They say to use the newer LCI extractors with the proper SLB.
You can still buy the older extractors without the cut.

I have ordered AirSoft parts from the far east and shipping was not very expensive.
I doubt total cost for a couple of ejectors would be very much more expensive than buying 2 complete housings with ejector here. That is the only way to get them at the present.

Can you still get the non LCI angle cut extractors in Europe?

with "non LCI angle cut"-extractors do you mean the 90 instead of the 15 breech face angle of the extractor?

Bought my glock 19 gen 3 last october. Same problems casings
to the right and left and some to the head. Set a e-mail to glock
a week ago requesting a shipping label to have the newer part parts installed. Didn't get a reply till today. Shipping label sent no questions asked. Some times it seems to eject casings pretty well. My $180 bersa .380 ejects casing perfectly
and I feel my $500 Glock should also. I'll send it in and hope it
comes back and ejects casings as it should. I really like the G19
as it's my 1st Glock that I have purchased.

I call the 15 degree extractors as the angle cut.
I can purchase the 90 degree here (in fact have a new one along with the proper SLB)

Glock in the USA no longer sells the non-LCI extractors with the 15 degree cut only the LCI ones.

hold ALT and type 0176

EDIT go to the start bar, all programs, accessories, system tools, character map, this tells you all kinds of characters and the key strokes for producing them......assuming you are on a windows based machine

@ken:
yes the 15 ones are still available here, but very rare too, would be pure chance to stumble over one with complete SLB in a local shop.

It would be nice to be able to get the 15 Degree Non-LCI extractor hook, but if the one with the 90 Degree shoulder works - that's OK with me. The non LCI extractors I got blend in with the slide real well and the slight difference in the shoulder cut is barely noticable.

Waiting now on the plastic bearing. I may take my new/old pencil barrel G17 out this morning and see if I suffer the dreaded "erratic ejection" with it. I'm going to wait on the new bearing before mounting the non LCI extractors in my 9 m/m pistols.

Well I took it to the range today after polishing up the extractor. I got hit in the head once in 100 rounds. I did have a few pieces of brass fly low and slow past my right shoulder. It was still better than that it was. Not as good as when it was newer though. I'm going to keep looking for solutions. Wish we had an end all be all solution. Someone like lonewolf needs to just machine a beast extractor. It will sell like hot cakes.

didn't read all of the last posts, but did you try the 30274 ejector?

did you try a .40 extractor?

sounds bad that even with the 30274 your glock has erratic ejection.
in most cases the 30274 does the job and is the cure to all ejection probs.

last chance i'd try would be a LCI .40S&W extractor + SLB or (even better) a NON-LCI .40S&W extractor + NON-LCI SLB

I just ordered the LWD LCI 9mm extractor. If that doesn't solve my issues I'll look into going to the 40 cal platform. I'll just take the one out of my 23. Its non lci and old school goodness.

good idea, some say the LWD LCI .40s are also good, I'd test the LWD 9mm extractor, if that won't work then the NON-LCI .40 from your G23 and if that works, I'd buy a LWD .40 and put the glock OEM NON-LCI back in the G23

i bought the lone wolf 9mm extractor for my ejection problems and never got around to trying it. the post was too large to fit in the slide, and i had to file it down to make it fit. it's meant to be an oem replacement drop-in part. based on my experience and many others here, i would say lwd stuff is the last source i would use for parts.

the glock 40sw extractor i have in my g19 gen4 works perfectly. i had to file down part of the claw to make it work, but being a non-standard part for the g19 to begin with i'm ok with that.

is it common that the factory glock .40S&W extractor doesn't fit the glock 9mm slides?

thought all the .40S&W stuff from glock as factory part would just drop also in the glock 9mm slides.

there's a post by voyager where he shows the difference. the 40sw claw is angled closer to the breach face at the top, while the 9mm claw is parallel to the breach face. the sloppiness of the lwd 40sw part is probably the reason why it worked for so many 9mm ejection problems. with the glock 40sw part, i had to file it down a little to make it work.
