Total newbie on the BHP here. Son did a report on John Browning for school so I began to do a little research. This is how my gun buying starts. Something peaks my interest and next thing you know I am at the LGS. Anyway, is the Browning Hi-Power 9mm THE genuine Hi-Power that one must own? If someone was to buy ONE Hi-Power what is the most recommended model/version? Thanks for any advice.

Additionally, I should have included my question about purchasing new. I normally always buy new. Are the current Browning Hi-Power factory new models doing well? Thanks

All models are very fine pistols, my only recommendation is to get some nice navidrex grips and a raven modular holster.
