Yep, either a CED 7000 or a Pact Club Timer IV. The CED is more fully featured, smaller, but more delicate and you have to deal with rechargeables. The Club timer is simple, robust, and built like a tank. I like them both!

Great timers, both... EXCEPT the CED cannot be heard by shooters with a hearing loss (like all of 'em), and the display is smallish and somewhat difficult to see especially when wearing polarized glasses. Pact has the same polarized glasses problem.

My Pocket Pro 2 has two distinct advantages over both of the above timers...
a) It can be seen, and
b) It can be heard

If you or any shooters you EVER use the CED with don't have a hearing loss, or if you or anyone who may ever use your timer never wear polarized glasses, you won't have a problem.

PS: Most shooters over 40 have a high-frequency, noise-induced hearing loss.

I just use shot times that are available for free as Apps on my IPHONE - both Taurus and Surefire have them available. They have all the features on the $125 versions.

Good price... but I definitely can't hear those.

If Pact customer service sucks, I'd never knowit. I've never needed it. The thing is built like a tank.

me too keep them coming :
hears reply from CED to a question I had.

There are NO Waterproof timers on the market. However, we designed the CED7000 to be water resistant. This means it is sealed and ok for light rain. Most Shooters keep a Zip Lock baggy in their range bag so when it is raining hard, they place the timer inside the baggy and can run it through the bag which in turn keeps it dry.

Respectfully, Charles Hardy = CED
