So I got a universal rail mount worked up that should work on most other guns. The front of it is longer and is bent down for slides that are longer than the frame. The rear part doesn't go quite as far toward the trigger before it gets wider for those guns that don't have as long of a rail before the cross grove.

I will still make full size glock only models where the wire fits the full rail for those that want it. I can also make a compact glock model.

I also tried a different bag shape. I think it will work well, but I will not be making any more of these with radiuses because it's a PITA! I will, however, be making the bag from now on with a little offset to clear the hand a little better just no radius.

While I was growing up, my Mother was a seamstress. I learned to sew and found it helpful in the Military. There is nothing wrong with being self sufficient (knowledgeable).

Sorry, this range report is a little late. I got a chance to go shooting the other day, and got to try the smaller design for the first time. I shot about 46 rounds of 10mm. I only had to pick up about 7 cases that eluded the catcher, and I only lost 1 the whole day. I am surprised out of those out of those 7 that I only lost one, as there were a lot of people at this shoot and there was a couple thousand rounds of brass on the ground.
I think I will be making a mid size bag from here on out. I did have to adjust the small one just a bit, by hand, to get the height right, but after that it worked great.

I have an 8 yr old that functions as a brass-catcher/finder, but this would be a lot cheaper and lower maintenance!

You shouldn't think of it that way. Your just getting more for your time and money by having the youngster stay busy.

I knew I saw this here, and not on INGO. I was so surprised when I mentioned it at the shoot and then you handed it to me.

Hey Dave,
It is on INGO and INS as well. It gets a little confusing for me with so many people from 3 different sites, I was surprised when you mentioned seeing it on GT at the INGO shoot. ha ha

The 8 yr old brasscatcher is handy, but it really slows down range time when he starts shooting his cricket.....

I use 3bucc brass catchers for my AR10& AR15, so I think your pistol version is a great idea!

Substantial update for Non railed Glocks

For those of you that have a glock that does not have a rail, I have figured out a way to mount the catcher. I have not tested this yet, but I don't foresee any problems with durability. I have sent a prototype out for testing again and will be testing myself when I have time.

I also made a shorter one for a 29. (should fit the compacts also) It doesn't stick out as far as the others, but would still let you use it on a longer model.

I got my catcher on Monday, and finally got to try it out this morning.

This thing is awesome!!!! No more worrying about dinging the space station with empties as they get flung into orbit. 47 out of 50 rounds got bagged as they were fired, and the other 3 landed at my feet.

It fits neatly in my factory Glock box, which is another big plus.

Thanks for a great tool!
