Congrats! Look like a fun handgun to have around. Love shooting rimfire lately.

Is it any different than a Walther P22? I have one and it looks like a clone...

I am in the market for a compact ACCURATE .22lr pistol.

I have seen some reviews on this one and it is a candidate.

Are any of you PRECISION shooters - as in: Can you hold a 10 shot group on a bench @ 25 yards to 1" or so?

What I want to know is how capable the gun is in terms of precision - how tight will it group 10 shots of your various ammo around a target @ 25 yards?

Can anyone try this and reply? That laser gizmo mounted to the frame could potentially be a preferable sighting device to use from a precision standpoint...

I've been on the hunt for one of these for over a month. Nothing in stock locally and haven't found it online either....

I talked with the guys at Grand Prix Guns tonight (local shop) and they said that these are the hottest things this year and that Ruger is apparently making them as fast as they can, but GP Guns' supplier hasn't gotten them any so far.

Where did you guys find them?

They have a similar profile, but certainly not a clone.

I got one in January, gave it to the wife for Valentines day. Due to a wrist injury I haven't been shooting since mid February, but thank to this thread I'll lock tite that barrel screw before its first outing.

She had a Walther P-22 for a five years. Between the front sight falling off and the very small grip I was less than impressed. We probably only took it out 10 times in 5 years. I had paid $240+ tax in 2007 and was able to sell it for $280 in 2012, so it mostly funded the new Ruger ($310+ tax).

I picked one up yesterday at cabelas in Sidney, Nebraska. My wife and I love it so far. We've only put 150 rounds through it but so far...We LOVE it! Shot 1 box of 50 high grade Win. first then bulk Federals with no problems other than a couple of old shells that I'd found that just wouldn't fire. I could hit a silver dollar sized targer pretty consistently at 10 yards, Love the adjustable sights although I see no need to change them at this time. Next time we shoot we'll shoot a longer distance.
Hope this helps.

I took the wife's out for the first time yesterday. It worked fine with the CCI Blazer lead nose .22 ammo. I didn't pay much attention to it because we were also breaking in her new Kahr T9 (which is awesome).
