Never liked the original iron sights on my 91/30. I then went with a non-gunsmithing scope mount and scope..... and got frustrated with that, as the scope mount would always eventually shift. Finally, after a positive experience with MOJO sights on my M44 (front and rear peep), I bought a MOJO sight (rear only) for my 91/30 (1939 Tula) I LOVE this set-up - it maintains a close to original look and performs soo well. Here is a picture of my sighting in, as I stepped it back to 100 yards:
Soon, I was picking off gallon water jugs at 150 yards. The stripper clip pictured above was one of a group that came with some Polish ammo I had purchased and work VERY well - way better than any aftermarket clips I have tried.
Shooting zombies with a Russian rifle and Albanian ammo at 150 yards... Is this a great country or what??
