Back in the saddle, again!

18 months of constant struggle and hardcore physical therapy, my health has regained an accecpatble level. I was re-sworn and went to work last Thursday. I begged for a road commander slot, because I want to hit the ground running, on morning watch. It is definately a shock to the system, but it feels great to be back. I will probally work on another chief's slot when I have proven myself to me.

Welcome back. There is not another job that would come anywhere close to as fun.

Good to hear your back.

I have had to do it a few times myself, not as long of breaks, but similar. Do you feel about 5 feet thick with the gunbelt on? Do you feel like your upper body is wrapped in a rug?

NYC Drew? I miss his posts. Is his absence voluntary or forced exile?

And then there are those trying so hard to be offended that they're imagining things that haven't even been said in a thread.
