Hello from Detroit!
Hello Everyone!
Name's Dave. I recently had the opportunity to purchase a Gen 4 Glock 23 for my new job. Due to the fact I will be carrying it both as a CCW gun and as a duty gun I want to know as much as possible about Glocks. I figured this would be the best place to ask questions and read others' reviews about everything Glock related.
I look forward to learning from you all!

G23 is one of the most versatile pistols on the market. Small enough to conceal, large enough to grip for most folks. You can get conversion components to shoot .22, 9mm, and .357sig, in addition to the .40 it normally shoots. It is very reliable, shoots most ammo with no problems, requires little maintenence, and is price competitive. Large amounts of mags, parts, and accessories are available through many outlets, and most at reasonable prices. I love all of mine..
Being that you are in Detroit, I would pack a marine division instead... lol
