Riser or not?

Hey new here, just curious if any of you have the same setup. will I need a riser and if so what size? If it will bolt right on and cowitness cool, if it will be over the front sight post that is cool too. I just don't want the red dot to be to low. I am mounting a Truglo red dot http://www.truglo.com/IW_Products.m4...TI_ITEM_SUBMIT to a Stag 15 model 2 http://www.stagarms.com/product_info...roducts_id=206 Thanks!!

My guess is that you will need a riser. Your truglo link does not take me to the item you are going to use, but unless the TruGlo is specifically made for a flat top AR, you will probably need a small riser. Can you post a link or picture of the TruGlo product you want to use?
