Pelosi On Obamacare: "We Wrote Our Bill In A Way That Was Constitutional"
Quote:
"I'm a supporter of judicial review, I honor the Constitution in that regard," Pelosi said to reporters. "That's why we wrote our bill in a way that was Constitutional. I still feel pretty confident about it. And if and when –– this game is not over. In March Madness, what happens when your team doesn't win one –– well wait a minute, let's have the game."

"I have confidence in our Solicitor General and his arguments, from what I can see from the transcripts. Mr. Conyers was pretty confident yesterday, but then again he went to the Court," Pelosi said.

Isn't she the same one that said we need to pass the bill so that we can find out what's in it?

Pelosi has a habit of lying every time she opens her mouth.

Pelosi is also the bat-@$$ed crazy harpy who said that Obamacare was sanctioned by the Declaration of Independence...

I suppose that, to her, Obamacare also passes the strict legislative muster of the Gettysburg Address...

Nancy Pelosi is an idiot and knows just enough about the Constitution to know she doesn't like it or respect it.

Obama's Solicitor General practically got laughed out of Court 3 days in a row. The illogic he tripped over, the contradictions in the arguments are breathtaking.

She's right, they wrote the bill in a way that was constitutional, just like every other bill they write... it's the content of the bill that we take issue with.

Shouldn't she just tell the SCOTUS that she deems it to be constitutional, and be done with it? With her "deeming" power and Hussein's No Bell Piece Pryze, I honestly can't figure out why we have so many problems.

Worst Socialist Utopia ever, if you ask me.

& If SCOTUS doesn't want to read 2700 pages, they can just pass it to find out what's in it ! .....

She said Declaration of Independence but she meant Emancipation Proclamation.

Somehow you need to work in the words enumeration, constipation, and retalitation when dealing with Nancy.

Theodoric of York's Writ Of Common Wisdom.

Quote:
Theodoric of York: You see if the body is accepted by the water that means she’s not guilty.

[ The mother pulls out a soaked dress from the trough. ]

Mother: She’s dead!!

Theodoric of York: Well, she must have drowned from being under the water.

Mother: You call this justice!? An innocent girl dead?

Theodoric of York: Hey! God’s will!

Mother: Why don’t you just admit it!? You don’t know what you’re doing! And who are you to interpret God’s will!?

Simpkin: Yeah! By what right?

Theodoric of York: Well… the King. It’s the law.

Mother: Well, the law’s wrong. It should be changed.

Simpkin: You know, she’s right. There’s a point in what she’s saying.

[ Theodoric guides around the trough and to the center. ]

Theodoric of York: Wait a minute – perhaps she’s right. Maybe the King doesn’t have a monopoly on the truth. Maybe he should be judged by his peers. Oh! A jury! A jury of his peers. Of six good men! No wait! Eight good men! No!! Ten good men!! No, that’s not enough… 18 good men!! No, that’s TOO MANY. Let’s see… 11 good men! Wait! 13 good men! No… 11, 13, 11, 13… it doesn’t matter. Okay. But everyone should be tried by a jury of their peers and be equal before the law. And perhaps, every person should be free from cruel and unusual punishment.

[ Theodoric takes a brief pause. ]

Theodoric of York: Nah!!

Good catch...Honoring the Constitution should not be conditional in any way.
