Short vid of muzzle blast from Power Pistol

I recently figured out an easier way to reload the .357 sig, and I took a short vid of me shooting 125 grain loads over 8 grains of Power Pistol in my G32.

Woops.....having trouble with the video.

Well, I didn't want to go too nuts as this was my first successful experience reloading the .357 sig. I think I'll def. bump it up next time.

Nice lil' fireball ya got there.

Work it up slow and you can go quite a ways.
I adore Power Pistol.

I've found data pushing 124/125 gr bullets with 9.5-9.7gr of PP.

I've worked up close to that, but not quite to it.
I load it to get me a reliable smidge over 1400fps out of my G32. Nice big fireball!

Nice! I'm glad to see action in this forum and I think I'm getting interested in reloading. I love my 32, but ammo is so expensive...LOL

Redhaze,

My Lyman manual has a max at 8.7.....but I've seen other sources that show 9.5. I think I'll bump it up to 8.7 and see what happens.

Alchemy1,

Best suggestion I have seen for loading the .357 sig is running my cases through a .40 de-capping and sizing die first, and then run it through a .357 sig de-capping and sizing die with the de-capper removed.

I'm sure you know, but I'll say it for anyone else reading.

Don't just jump up to 8.7gr either. It is still considered MAX according to Lyman data. And is something that needs to be worked up to accordingly.
