Night sight color preference
Ordering some Meprolights tomorrow. I'm kind of torn between getting green front with green rears, or green front with yellow rears. My Sig 238 has green/green, which I like, but is there a downside to yellow rear sights? I'm thinking the contrast would make the front sight easier to find, but does anyone prefer green/green?

I like yellow rear night sights, but green/green is fine too.

I'm partial to the orange rear and green front. I really like the contrast and brighter front sight. Good choice going with the Meprolights!

I would need to see both. I like the green front and yellow rear, but some of the night sights I have seen are hard to see for my eyes, especially some of the yellow ones.

I like Green on all mine except for my G26 where I have yellow backs and a green front.

I have green front/orange rear on my G36. I'm thinking I might like yellow rear better though. With Meprolights, the front green is brighter then the orange rear, so yes, the front sight stands out.

I have Ameriglo on my G26 and G19 - yellow rear / green front - I like them a lot!

I (personally) find it hard to discern between yellow and green rear sights - they look almost the same to me. Green appears brightest to me, overall. I have Glock OEM tritium sights on my issued G26, and like them as well as anything else I've used.
