Sig 1911 Extreme
Just bought a Sig 1911 Extreme.
I bought it for 730 and got a free box of Hollow points. This was brand new on Gunbroker.
Was this as good of a deal as i think it was? THought these were way more expensive?
ALso any recommendations on reliable mags that work well with sig 1911's?
I hate to buy a bunch of mags just to see which ones are best.

Congrats!
Sig used to include "Act" magazines, they are made by MecGar.
I've had great luck with MecGar, Wilson, McCormick & Tripp

I think that is a good deal, anything under $850 would seem good to me based on what I have seen.

Good deal, Chip Power 10's or Wilson 47D's or 47T's for mags

Congrats, you will like that Sig. I have an RCS Nitron as my carry gun. Use Wilson 47D mags.

I like everything about the Sig 1911s but the EE. Someday I'll get past it, after I have a few more traditional pistols

I have to agree with you, the EE does look a little out of place on a 1911 platform. I still like the look and would not mind having one.

Just an update... I shot another 50 rounds through it today.(100 total) It shoots like a dream. No malfunctions of any kind.
Sorry no pictures of targets but this is by far my best shooting pistol. Polymer vs 1911 debate is done for me. I am a 1911 guy and cannot put this down. Yes, my glock is an excellent gun however it just does not shoot like my Sig 1911. I wish I would have started with a 1911 .... I guess the poly guns gave me a true appreciation for the 1911 though...
