Beretta PX4 Storm vs. FNH FNX-9

For anyone interested, I just did a head to head comparison of these two very similar handguns (Beretta PX4 Storm and FNH FNX-9). I wanted to be thorough so the video ended up being pretty long. To make it a little easier to view I decided to break it into two parts. The first part deals more with the physical characteristics of each gun. How they differ and how they are similar. The second video deals with the performance of both guns at the range.

Great in depth review. I have to disagree with you on the aesthetics. The Px4 storm is the UGLIEST pistol I've ever seen! I'd even rather have a VP70 based on looks alone, not like it matters. I really like the cocked and locked feature on the FNX. That alone wins it for me, and the 8oz. difference and weight is icing on the cake. Again, good review, glad you have an HD camera, but I could certainly go without the jokes and mentioning how you laugh when you say deckocker, but you've got plenty of info, thanks.

I figured some people would prefer the looks of the FNX which is why i did the rating at the end with looks out of the equation. I also knew people would like the cocked and locked so I gave it extra points in the features section even though that feature is wasted on me.

The looks of both guns don't mean squat to me. It's like trying to pick the uglier of the two already fugly chicks.

I prefer the Beretta because of the slicker action and better fit & finish.

Having handled both, I agree that the beretta is the winner. In fact, I'd have it winning by more.

Great review as usual, PP!

I went to a LGS a couple of years ago to look at a FNP and came home with a PX4 compact. Something about it appealed to me more than the FN. Maybe it was the both of us being Italian thing. Since then I've bought more Beretta's!
