Glock Blue Label Program

My son is a young Ensign and is unable to contact Glock at this time as he is out of the country but asked me by a quick email if I knew or could get some feedback on what range a G19 might be to a Naval Officer under the program. If anyone has experience with this and has a guestimate of range, we would appreciate it. Thank you.

If you are asking price range it would be $398.00 for military / leo / first responder etc.

Thank you. I am sure he will like that number as O 1's are at the bottom of the pay scale!

Here in my part of Virginia, 398 + tax for G26/19/17/27/23/22s and a little more for the target versions or the bigger calibers. In Richmond and Collinsville VA there is Town Guns (aka Town Police). I see you are in FL, but I'm not sure where he is considered home ported (correct term for Navy?). Be aware some of our local LGSs sell Blue Labels but jack up the price (not Town Guns BTW) and they cost more. I do not know if this is widespread or not.

God Bless your son and his shipmates.

I just mail in the Glock LEO paper work today 3/12/2014. The price of the gun, G17 gen 4, was $398.20. Add $10 for shipping and tax if your state requires it. I was lucky no tax.

The gun is being shipped to a local FFL. He is charging me $10 for transfer. So total cost will be $418.20. Great program.

UPDATE: Glock confirmed paperwork received on 3/18/2014. As of 4/12/2014 gun not delivered.

Not every dealer that sells blue lable guns is a LE dealer. Many LGS can get blue lable guns but then increase the price as they are not held to the same agreement at the LE dealers. Its frowned upon by glock, but I have yet to see them do anything about it... A few store around here have been sellig blue lable guns $50-$80 above "LE price" and have been reported to glock they are doing so... And they are still listed dealers on glocks website..

I do not mind paying a transfer fee, but charging $50 to $80 is beyond a reasonable fee. Greed will do them in. I almost alway do repeat business when I feel I received a good deal. Take advantage of me once and you have lost my future business.
