MSNBC's Matthews: Obama's Afghanistan Speech Was Right Outta' "Henry V"

Just when you thought Chris "Tingly Leg" Matthews couldn't bend over any more, he stoops a little lower along Obama's posterior...

Quote:
I must say, this has nothing to do with partisanship. This is a commander-in-chief, meeting with the troops... It was right out of Henry V, the uh, touch-of-Barry in this case, in the night for those soldiers risking their lives over there. ... I was so proud of him there because, I imagine, being a soldier over there, this is what you want to hear, that the troops are backed up by the people at home, and there you have your commander-in-chief with you, personally. It's great stuff.
Rest here:

So basically, Obama should be compared to the "Band of Brothers" that Shakespeare wrote about when King Henry V actually rode into battle with?

Apparently, Matthews has given up all pretense of being anything but a shill for the Democrats and Obama.

And, doesn't really seem to care who knows it.

Chris Matthews compared Obama's speech on race to the Gettysburg Address.

One might generously say his historical and literary analogies are hyperbolic and obsequious...

I gained a lot of respect for Chris Mathews in the wake of the 2000 election debacle. I have since lost all of it. More, actually.

Matthews is a loud mouth, never shut up POS.
Loved it years ago when Zell Miller put him in his place.

Chris Matthews is so far beyond being a brown noser that I believe that he has a "Stain" on his blue dress!
