Greetings all: New to Glock Talk, and to handgun shooting -- have a 21 and a 23 now, love 'em.
Also have the drooling wants for a 29 now -- they're difficult to find, any suggestions?

My favorite LGS keeps at least one G29 in stock at all times as far as I know. I chose from 3 in late Jan. when I bought mine........which I think is the most versatile pistol out there. I'm sure you'll love it when you find one!

For some strange reason, not one, not two, but three LGS's have kept a G29 or G29SF in their inventory. I put my third G29 on layaway today.

JCM 2506, to the forum! I bought mine "new" online, it cost me a little more because of the transfere fees but at that time they were in short supply. I really have enjoyed my G-29 and the flex ability of 10mm and also the conversion barrels for 40S&W, 357Sig and 9x25Dillon.

I have my G29 with me all the times. Many thousands of round by now. Did a basic mod. Always reliable! Great gun.

I just bought one online a few days ago. There were at least three left (at various places, same website) as of yesterday. Try googling or searching on one of the popular auction sites.

Welcome to the 10 Ring. I was new to this spot a few months ago when I got my first 10er, my G20SF. I just picked up my G29SF this week.
There is a wealth of experience here from guys who really know these guns and this caliber, I have learned a lot.
On the G20/G29 availability, out here where I live most gun dealers stock very few G20/G20SF's and never stock a G29/G29SF.
What I did is use the stock watch feature on Gun Genie. You put your email address in and when one comes into stock at Davidson's, you get notified. When you go online after the notice, you ask for a quote and a number of dealers in your area who have prearranged deals with Davidson's bid on the price. You then select the closest/best deal and buy the gun. Davidson's overnights the gun to your dealer and you go down and pay for it.
My last three Glock's I have bought the Gun Genie way as they seem in high demand out here where people are preparing for all manner of diasters, or maybe they just like the guns.
I have noticed that the G29/G29SF's seem to run about 3 weeks between shipments at Davidson's, so you may have to wait a few weeks.

WeeWilly, whats funny about that is that for a long stretch a few months back, all you could find is G29's... but NO G20's.... so, I'd say... "it varies".
To the OP, good luck! You won't regret it!
