Lugar OUT.
Tea party ended him.
The "impotent tea baggers", the "extremists" on the right.
While dems and leftists relieve themselves in the park, spit on people going to real jobs, engage in anarchy and destruction, the right's civilized activists bring REAL change.
Just like in 2010 when we flipped the House.
Obama's favorite Republican…gone. Primaried!
IN will be in the R column this November. Back where it belongs.

Lugar's opponent beat him like a drum. The Democrats can hysterically insist otherwise, but there were a whole lotta people who aren't affiliated with the Tea Party who made it happen.

So, it's going back to 1994 when we had GOP congress and democratic white house. That worked out well..... Newt shut the government down for a while and then impeached the prez for lying about adultery.... all the while he (Newt) was lying about adultery.
Everything old is new again. I wonder what phoney charges they will trump up to impeach Obama with?
Should be entertaining although no business will get done for a while.

Were you better off in 1994 than you are today? I would guess most Americans were. I would take that over this mess we are in today.

Well said. We learned our lessons from 2010 when we had four TP candidates against carpetbagger retread Dan Coates who slipped through with 30-some % of the vote. A lesson for all: get behind one good candidate and push HARD.

He also used the democrat tactic of telling seniors that his opponent was going to take their social security away.

Awesome! Freedom is on the march. Now let's get the other RINOs and Obama out of office, too.

Was anyone even asking Newt about adultery at the time? And if so, did he lie under oath???
BTW: That did work out well, balanced government, welfare reform, reduction of the size of government.

36 years as a Washington lounge lizard is way too long.
36 years running our country into the ground you are part of the problem.

Don't forget Newt's "courageously" refusing to bring up for a vote a bill that would have outlawed quotas, preferences and set-asides in Federal contracting. Bottom line, affirmative action's reverse discrimination is here to stay.
Thanks Newt.

[QUOTE=G29Reload;18944368] “Tea party ended him...” etc. Good. Astroturf has roots. If they can win in a general election, they might even grow. Until then, the impotent label applies.
Pleased to see the squatter loose support. Only concern is that it cost republicans a vote.
Agree... want to see more states go Republican in November. Don’t really care if it takes tp support or not. After the election, there’ll be plenty of time to get things straight.
[QUOTE=Alizard;18944924”]So, it’s going back to 1994...” etc., etc. Ah the good ole days of yore! Republicans roadblock domestic terrorists and a serial sex offender and criminal. Excellent. A liar hoisted on his own petard as he perjured himself under oath. Excellent. Only exec. ever impeached. Very cool.
As to the squatter, there are no lack of very legitimate charges that can and need for the sake of the Republic need to be brought against him. With control of the House and Senate, the result will be justice. Excellent.
[QUOTE=beforeobamabans;18945065]”Well said. We learned our lessons from 2010...” Agree. Got to unite behind a candidate who can actually win and then “push hard.” That is what it takes to win. And when the ballots are counted, only winning matters. For only the winners get to make any decisions. The losers have to live with the consequences... as do the voters.
[QUOTE=robertoh;18945115]Lugar at the end of the campaign when he knew he was in trouble asked IN.Democrats to switch sides and vote for him. The putz got what he deserved. No disagreement on my part.
[QUOTE=Gunboat1;18945202]Awesome! Freedom is on the march. Now let’s get the other RINOs and Obama out of office, too. To some degree agree. At all cost remove the squatter. If removing rhinos will put control in the hands of the demokrats, then no, vote for and support the rhinos.
[QUOTE=BuckyP;18945210]Was anyone even asking Newt about adultery at the time? And if so, did he lie under oath??? Happily Newt never perjured himself under oath. Lying about women, etc. Is not a federal crime unless you do so while under oath. As a officer of the court, the former demokrat squatter in the white house knew that. That’s why a fed. judge held him guilty. That’s why he had to surrender his law license, etc.
BTW: That did work out well, balanced government, welfare reform, reduction of the size of government.
Government getting NOTHING done is better than what it’s been getting done for the past 6 years. Agreed. The Contract With America produced good results for America.

I expect this will go as well for the tea party as nominating "I'm no a witch" over a moderate republican.

The government shut down was a beautiful thing!
Newt wasn't under oath, was he?
As for the "business".....unless the "business" is repealing laws and slashing spending to the bone, I don't want the folks in DC busy doing any "business". Gridlock is a blessing.

You obviously don't know Mourdock. He is a legitimate candidate having served two terms as the State Treasurer, he is an expert on budgets and government spending. By statute, he held seats on dozens of government committees involved with taxes, bond issues, A/R and A/P. In other words, he was the ultimate insider on money flows within the generally successful Daniels Administration. As such, he knows the levers of government and what works and doesn't work. He will be a huge asset for the new GOP majority in the Senate in crafting balanced budgets and dealing with unfunded liabilities such as SS, Medicare and government pensions.
Another little know fact outside Indiana that endeared him to our union autoworkers...he was the only state official to sue the federal government over it's illegal subrogation of Chrysler bondholders during the auto bailouts. That little trick by the Feds cost the UAW pension funds millions. Mourdock was the only one to fight it and is universally praised by both left and right for standing up to Goliath for the law of the land.
The Dems are crowing about the race being competitive now and are getting busy painting Mourdock as "extreme" but I predict he will be elected easily in the fall as Indiana comes home to the red camp. [Note: In 2008, Indiana went Blue for the first time since 1964]

I didn't see any meaningful drop in spending between 2010 and 2011, so you'll understand if I failed to notice the flip...

Many budgets were submitted by the House, only to be rejected by the Democrat-owned Senate. Been paying attention much?

Fiscal conservatism scares the hell out of liberals, whether it's from the TEA Party or yellow-dog dems. Don't touch our stash, we got lots to be buying!
