Damn, that Beefeater hooch really did a number on you.

If one goes with the Vang extension like I did, then you need to swap out his stainless unit for something else. In that case, the S&J is fine. What I do like about it, besides the color that's extremely visible, is the scalloped end so that I can distinctly feel the follower in a no light situation.

The complaints against the Wilson units are very far and few between and if there was a systematic problem with the design or production, it would be splashed everywhere.

Look at the discussion here - this thread is going back and forth on the merits of a couple of quality pieces of equipment that are found in countless serious guns. It's good that this stuff is brought up and discussed with personal observations shared. It elevates the discussion in a good way.

The reason I wanted one was because of the concave end that you can feel in the dark. I just bought a lime green on eBay for $15 shipped. Now I need a spring... Wilson methinks.
