Broken g19 locking block

Has anyone ever heard of a g19 locking block breaking or being damaged? I'm debating whether to buy spares for the 19s along with all my other replacement parts.

I'm sure it's happened but I've never seen one in my 12 years of Glocking...

It has happened. Here are some pictures:

If you buy spares, be aware that there are three different locking blocks for G19's. There's one for two-pin Gen1/2/3 G19's, one for three-pin Gen3 G19's, and another separate one for Gen4 G19's. Currently glockparts.com is the only place I know of that sells the Gen4 G19 locking block.
(two-pin means it doesn't have a locking block pin, three-pin means it has a locking block pin)

Glock manufacturer part numbers:
Two-pin G19: 2471
Three-pin Gen3 G19: 4361
Gen4 G19: 7894

Happens but very unlikely.

I do not own any reserve locking blocks myself.

As has been said in my recert classes ... if you're breaking locking blocks, locking block pins or trigger pins, you're not replacing your recoil spring assembly often enough.
