Yeah, I'm not sure who came up with it, but its certainly redundant.
While both are legendary revolvers, having both the 27 and 29 on the list makes no sense at all.

Really. all it has is
a Colt-based single action revolver
a Browning based single action auto
a large framed S&W DA revolver
a Glock.

I agree, although the HP and 1911 are quite a bit different.

Quite true, but, if you have fired one, firing the other is not exactly a "novel" experience.
BTW I too have all but the Walker.

Agreed. I haven't made a list, but most of those wouldn't be on it.

Very true
The HP is just cool because it was the first double stack and the 1911 is well, the 1911.

What???? No PPQ listed? How dare anyone make a list without mentioning the PPQ? Alright PPQ fanboys, I mentioned the PPQ in the thread so now y'all can hijack some other thread.
Back to the original topic. How in the hell is anyone supposed to have access to or shoot a Walker? I know they exist, but more likely to see a unicorn before being able to shoot the Walker. Need to make a list that is a stretch goal- but at least attainable.

Yeah, I haven't done it but a 500 and a Desert Eagle seem like they should be on the bucket list.

Well, its the first double stack much like the G17 was the first polymer. Not the absolute first, but the first truly successful model and the first true high capacity pistol.
I did misword that a bit, but the HP is certainly an iconic pistol. Its my favorite 9mm, actually.

I see at least two different ways this could be evaluated, one would be just "for the "special" experience, and one for the "practical" experience.
Since the original list seems to be the "Special" type, i will try to drum up 8 of my own.
Colt SAA
Colt Python
S&W 29
1911
Luger
Glock
S&W 36
Beretta 92
It was a toss up on a couple, for instance a K-22 vs a 36 and there was no place left to put a Sig 210 or S&W 41.
Only about 1/2 of those would be on the "practical" list.
