Forum noob but long time Glock fan

Greetings fellow Glock Talkers!!

Glock enthusiast from Phoenix! Quick intro - long time lurker and looking forward to learning from you folks.

Got my first love (G19) back in 93-ish. I know old boring 2nd Gen (I'm pretty sure it's Gen 2) with no modern day aesthetics but instantly fell in love. Later got a G26 for comfort and CC. Same thing - no accessory rail. But I really enjoy them.

Question for the wise: other than having 3.5 lb trigger on both pistols the rest of it is OE from purchased new. Got the bug again and have been to the range the last 4 weekends. Both work great without any hiccups. Do I need to replace anything? Recoil spring? Thinking at least my G19 would need a replacement but if I don't need one = more money for ammo! And booze!

Your advice would be greatly appreciated and great forum!

Edward

Welcome, glad you converted from a lurker GTer.

My Glocks are kept basically stock (Talon grips) and I like them that way. As to the recoil springs, they should be changed every 2-3000 rounds--they aren't expensive. Firing pin springs I change at around 5K rounds.

Not exact but I'm thinking I'm close to that number.
