House OKs Indefinite Detention of Terror Suspects

Look out below!
Quote:
A divided House on Friday endorsed the indefinite detention without trial of terrorist suspects, even for U.S. citizens seized on American soil.

I guess their intentions weren't clear enough the first time so they came back and doubled down on violating the COTUS. Go go GOP!

It's just not news until it's you or one of your family. So be it.

Why should terrorists get an exemption on US soil, or because they're American citizens? Why would anyone want to be soft on terrorists? One might suspect that people opposing this policy are terrorists themselves...

Yeah, according to DHS and the fat cow, we are. You know, all of us gun owners, conservatives, republicans, veterans etc.. Yeah, we don't need our rights guaranteed us as BIG Brother has our back.

You're kidding, right? Because, as American citizens, we have specific rights that PROHIBIT authorities from holding us "indefinitely". You can't just unilaterally decide to void a Constitutional right because you're scared of a boogyman!

The federal government wants the unrestricted ability to pluck any person from the public, and make them disappear, without having to go through the messy business of killing them. All this talk about terror is a complete lie.

Maybe that's what happened to the witness to Breitbart's death.

And what exactly is the definition of a terrorist? "No more soup for you" - Soup Nazi goes to jail. "Those that control the meaning of words, control what people think" - Big Brother 1984

Who's to say they won't kill them? Since they can hold them indefinitely without allowing them to even have counsel, who would know for sure if they were dead or alive?
