Both are great guns! BOTH will serve you very well. Of the two I prefer the G23, mostly cause I'm not a 9MM fan. (Assuming the 226 is in 9 "flavor")
I owned a 229 for some time, only sold it off after buying another G23. I also owned a 220, I like the gun allot as well.
Good luck with them!

$600 total. $550 for the 226, $30 for overnight shipping and $20 ffl transfer fee.

Correct it's a 9mm. I plan on using the G23 as CCW when I get my CHL. I still have my gssf coupon, so I need to start thinking about what to get next.

Is that a reconditioned Sig? You won't find an easier shooting 9mm. Very accurate and easy to shoot well.

Correct it's a CPO. KA is stamped under the barrel, looks like 1990.

I picked up a pristine used P239/357 for $550 recently.
It's pure sweetness. Have a 1998 P220/45 that I bought NIB too.
I love my Sig Sauer guns.

Awesome Sig. I picked up a P220 few days ago.
I had bought my father a CPO P229 in 40S&W. I'm jealous lol...
I might be picking up a P228 9mm one day.

Congrats on both. That is a good deal on the Sig. I just picked up a Sig P6 today. All my Sigs have been great guns and crazy accurate.
