Range Drills?

I try to make it to the gun range monthly, but sometimes my college budget doesn't even allow that. I only have access to an indoor range, so no drawing from holster, but they don't mind rapid fire/controlled pairs. I practice the draw in front of a mirror at home, but I can't put drawing and firing together at the range.

I was wondering what some drills were that people are practicing? I am mainly interested in drills to make for a more conscious concealed carrier. I am usually either carrying my G27 or DB9, so IWB or Pocket carry is the norm for me.

Burkett's Dry Fire Drills are also a great tool:

Remember, be honest to yourself when doing dry-fire drills - that and SAFETY, of-course!

Do you know whether anyone locally does IDPA?

I find the 3 stages of the classifier have some pretty basic timed drills.

The stages are at 7 yards, moving forward & back 5 to 10 yards, and 15 to 20 yards with barriers. Details are at the URL below.

International Defense Pistol Association (IDPA) is supposed to help folks practice their defensive skills, although some go whole hawg into it as competition.

My R & G club membership is $50/ year, plus a $5 fee when we shoot and of course the cost of 90 rounds of cheapie ammo.

Or make yourself some targets & use your favorite free shooting spot (if you're lucky enough to have one)

I think you can find everything you need here: http://www.idpa.com/Documents/IDPARuleBook2005.pdf

Reading SD Forum just now & Mas Ayoob referred to the following site. Looks like lots a good drills, but may still be under construction:
