Hi guys, I just purchased my first CZ, a 527 in .223, laminated stock. Included in the box was/is a test target. According to the information on the target it was shot a 50 meters and "stamped" with initials of the shooter. Nice tight little three shot group. The rifle doesn't come with open sights or scope soooooooo. How do they do their test group? It's not like its a group shot from a vice on plain paper. It's a "target" and the group is darn near dead center.

I am thinking that there may be a laser bore sighter involved and maybe a clamp on laser.

The rifle was mounted to a bench and fired three time. The bench never moves and they just change the target.

Less liability for the company to put it into a fixture to fire it than have a person shoot it. And, they can have any idiot put it into a fixture, without the cost of an expert shooter.

I have 3 of their pistol targets. Either their rests are underbuilt or, if they have experts shooting them, I could be the king of IPSC Europe.

Probably a ransom rest. Fire the first shot, see where it hits on the backer, place the bulls-eye over the bullet hole, fire three more shots. No sights, no scope.
