But this guy's problem, as well as many other progressives problem, with Obama is that he hasn't gone far enough left...

They've been angry with him for some time now. This was their golden hour and he has not brought forth the revolution fast enough.
You can see it here with some of the leftist posters like Brucev who want him gone.

He got tenure at 29. Imagine a great pay/benefits/easy job and never having to worried about getting fired. No wonder he is out of touch.
There isn't a lot of excitement about this election for either candidate but I think the Rs will get out and vote while the Ds stay home.
I still think there is a chance that if BO looses he will run again in 16. Then there is the wife and the kids in the future to think about.

Combine that with the fact that in most countries over there politicians aren't former businessmen...they pretty much have to have joined the party's youth league as a teenager and stayed an active member of the party through college. Career politicians in a literal sense.
