Scientists find new evidence supporting John the Baptist bones theory

Proof or no proof?

Did I mention there are at least 7 billion opinions on earth, of which yours is only one?

Different bits of him scattered around in Bulgaria, Montenegro and Damascus. I didn't know they had 10mms that long ago! Sounds as though he might have been on Cyprus when he was shot.

It is not likely that these bones are those of John the Baptist. The veneration of saints and relics did not occur until later centuries. I believe the story said something like 5th century church.

Even if they are authentic they are of no significance.

What is of significance is what John did and was recorded in the Bible.
