I agree with Vic Hays that it means nothing to the overall competition between religions, non-religions, etc., since nobody really claims that these various saints didn't exist. I can see this being interesting to Catholics, but otherwise it's about as important as the debate over whether Daniel Boone's bones are really buried in his grave in KY.
