Shipping 1860 Blackpowder clone to DC

Are there any restrictions to having a Pietta colt 1860 Blackpowder clone revolver shipped to a DC address?

It would be easier to get if I have it shipped to a work address, but.......not if it is illegal.

My gut says this is very much in a grey legal area, but I can not find any restrictions on it. I assume it will stay in the shipping box until safely in a free state.

Well, it appears that Cabelas will sent it to DC so....

But they will not send round lead balls? Go figure..
