I'm about to do a trade for one. What is the most reliable ammo to use? Will my 1911 holsters work for it?

Ammo, shoulD be able to handle any modern jhp, I prefer Gold Dots.

Holster,.....will need a 3.5" 1911 model,.....however a 4 or 4.25 will work.

I've got a Service Master and love it. They're cool old-school 1911s.

A bit of trivia for you,,

I was one of the torture testers that ran the 9-11-01 model through the tresting.

The service model was also shot and I really liked that.

They had some of the best stainless parts fitted to a 1911 those barrels were vey accurate.
