Patiently waiting for some of the new Spydercos to come out, or get off of backorder. The only ones I've actually acquired this year are the Mules that they released, I have 1 or 2 of each type so far.

ESEE 4 - Got it as a backpacking knife. Amazing knife, great company, great product.
I can't remember when I got my paramilitary 2, It might have been late last year. Regardless, best folding knife I've ever had.
Want: Black FFG Spyderco Delica.

I've been on a Traditional knife kick lately. These are my latest, just got them yesterday. Made for Schrade by GEC.

Recently my GF gave me a SOG Trident for my birthday, I bought a SOG Mini Vulcan and also a SOG Ops fixed blade. What can I say, I absolutely love SOG knives!
Next on my list is either a Seal Team Elite or Force. Trying to decide which one to get...

Picked up a Hogue Elishewitz EX01 3.5" folder, Ka-bar TDI, and a EDC pocket knife from a custom knife maker, and a nice katana (fine, it's bigger than a "knife", but still awesome!)

I've bought a BHK Bushcrafter, the Orange Spyderco Paramilitary 2 and the Benchmade 176. I only regret the BM. It just doesn't fit in the hand worth a damn.
I would like to find a nice thin dagger for my boot and I'm open to suggestions.

Have you considered reprofiling the handle any? Something like knocking off the majority of the protrusions and wrapping it in hollowed paracord, then epoxying it? It looks like a great blade with a marginal handle.

It's the ring. Wrapping the handle is a good idea and I'll give it a shot.
When the index finger is in the ring the knife can no longer be held at a 90 degree angle, its more like 55-60. This makes the standard dagger attack arced as opposed to a direct point to target stab. It's only attack angle that works well is attacking opponents behind you. It's unnatural otherwise for even the most common attacks with daggers because you cannot direct the point to the target without arcing.
Maybe it's just me.

Yeah, the ring is kinda goofy.... I haven't seen one in person, but is the handle long enough to take off the ring completely, or would that make it too short?

I recently picked up an "HK" knife (made by Benchmade). It's a nice assist knife, without a lock like on the SOG assists.

Too short, too thin, BM fail. IDK, I'm about to put it up on BF and see if I can trade it or break even. It's a stabber only I can't even chalk it up to cool letter opener. Live and learn.

Probably an English maker called Guycep. I have a couple of his knives and is quite happy with them.
I`m thinking somewhat along the lines of this one: http://www.britishblades.com/forums/showthread.php?110383
But with a non embellished fishtail handle, possibly with a baldric sheath. I do like simple, clean lines.

I suppose I can take the 176 off my list and add this.
Hopefully it can satisfy my boot knife backup requirement for the time being

Be careful carrying it in this state. TX has pretty sorry knife laws.

Not planning on carrying it, just a project.
And yeah, our knife laws are freaking retarded. San Antonio really takes the cake though
