How fortunate for him he was able to "save" his website just in time to plaster his url all over the wingnut press. 
Wingnuts would't recognize a marketing gimmick if it bit them in the ass, and I applaud the guy for taking advantage of them to get his site ranking up.

Has to be asked; "shut it down, or what"? As far as I know, there's no law against saying/posting bad stuff about Obama, even if it's true or not true. Since Obama is a public figure, libel/slander laws are very hard to enforce. People who are unhappy with the site's authors are free to not read it.
If it were me, I'd tell the Obama truth squad to go (untypeable) themselves.
