Scored a Semi-Cool Old S&W
Well, not really old, just '69-'70
Once lived a life as a sidearm with the "Metropolitan Police Department, Washington, DC".
Fantastic trigger

"Character" guns in great shape are more than "semi" cool!
Could the DC mean department of corrections, as well?

Early consensus on the Smith forum is Metro, DC.

Yea, DC calls it's police force the "Metropolitian Police Department". It's almost certainly Washington DC.
Very nice Model 10. I like the square butt better myself, but I sure wouldn't turn my nose up at a RB.
What is it? A 10-5?

Then that would make the "P" pretty hard to explain.

I remember when these revolvers were highly sought after for PPC revolvers. Where has the time gone? I have a 1989 G17, and I feel a little behind-the-times!

I have a 1986 Glock that was bought in 1988. Apparently it wasn't Glock Perfection back then because they're up to Generation 4 now.
