Ruger 22/45
Well, I just got home with a 1996 vintage 22/45 SS bull barrel and 2 Ruger mags. Looks on great shape. Looking forward to my first range trip with it.

I have the MKII blue 4" bull barrel 22/45.
They are great shooters. You should be very happy!
Congrats and have fun.

I have a mark III 22/45 RP and love it. First thing I did after my first range trip with it was to remove that stupid magazine safety. Mags drop free now and it's much simpler to field strip. Only thing I want to change on it now is to add an over-travel stop to the trigger. I've always loved the mark series pistols. They are super accurate and so much fun to shoot. $20 buys A LOT of .22lr rounds too! Oh yeah I added some testor's white enamel to the sights for a bit more contrast as well. I put a thin vertical stripe down the center of the front blade and filled in the "U" shaped mark on the rear sight blade. Makes shooting black dot targets much easier on the eyes. Eats everything I feed it too. Fantastic pistol.

I love my 22/45. Runs great with cheap Federal bulk pack, and plenty accurate enough. It would be cool if 1911 grips would fit though.

First Blush Range report on my Ruger 22/45 ss. Had enough time to stop by the indoor range nearest me and put about 150 rounds bulk down range. Shot from support first and noticed sights weren't right. After a few tweaks groups centered on poa. No ftf/fte or malfunction of any kind. Now to get back when I have more time and see how accurate I can shoot it.
I'm pleased.
