Colt AR 9mm magazine question
I am trying to find some good reliable mags for my Colt 9m/m AR Carbine. Factory Colt mags are hard to find and sometimes quite expensive. Are the Metalform mags made to the same specs as the Colt factory mags? I'm trying to stay as close to factory as possible because I ordered some polymer aftermarket mags that won't lock into the magwell, so they're useless.

C Products? I thought Colt's were made by Metalform. Thanks for the info and the link.

Yeah, I have a few C-Products Magazines for my 9mm AR. Both the 20 rounder and 32 rounder work as well as the Colt brand ones that I have. Also, the $20 price tag is much more manageable than the $50 price tag for the Colt Mags.

I have 10-15 C-Products mags, most are 32 round, I've had them about five years with no complaints.
These are used in my Colt 9mm AR.

It's also possible to modify UZI mags to work in the Colt 9mm carbines.

I had great luck with C-Products mags in my 9mm Colts.

I bought 5 modified UZI magazines for my AR 9mm when I first bought it. I had a lot of problems with them. I think the bodies got pinched during the modification. I sent them back.
I took a chance on 30 round Pro Mags and they have been flawless for me.
