Is the current gen3 23 GTG to tac light?

I just picked up a new gen3 g23 and recently learned about some issues with 40cal glocks and lights. Am I good to go?

You need to replace your magazine springs with Wolff extra power springs. It may be ok while your mags are new but it won't be long before you start getting jams.

I agree. That same problem with the 22s got Glock's attention, and they found that a heavier magazine spring was the way to correct the problem. Glock designed a new eleven coil spring for the 15 round magazines.

I did not hear anything about the same problems with the 23, but when I got my first weapons light, I started having FTFs when the light was mounted. I ordered a set of Wolff extra power springs for the 23 and they corrected the problem. I don't know if Glock came out with a heavier factory spring. Glock for sure uses the 23-springs in the 27s and 21s.
