Trade PPQ .40 for gen4 34?

I looked at a gen4 34 today and got the itch to trade my PPQ for it. PPQ has less than 200 rounds thru it. 34 is NIB what should I try to get out of the PPQ if I decide to trade? 34 was priced at $549.

At a gun shop I'd say $350-375 would be about the most you could expect. I use 60-65% of NIB price as a benchmark.

Yeah, you might get $350 or so in trade value.

There's no way I'd make that trade.

I wouldn't consider trading in any of the Walther P99 variants in on a Glock.

I'd save up and buy the Glock, keeping the Walther.

That's me, though ...

Have you shot a G34? Do you know if you like it? Do you dislike the PPQ?

I just got back from putting the first 200 through my new PPQ. No way I'd do it, personally. But then again, it's your PPQ.

As others have said, keep the PPQ and save for the G34.

I think you are all right no reason to lose money on a trade. I do like my PPQ. Just haven't shot it enough to love it. I do love the trigger though.

Sounds like its time to hit the range. Don't get me wrong, I'll never part with my G34. But, I don't like to see people loose money.

I agree. If my layaway deal falls through that is the pistol I will use my store credit for in the future...(PPQ)

I agree , You'll have 1000+ dollars tied up in one pistol. Save up and in the meantime range the crap out of the PPQ.

You all have convinced me to keep the PPQ and save for something else.

Let me know when you trade in your PPQ so I can scoop it up.

same here as everyone else! I may not like the .40 as a round, but I would never trade a walther for a glock!
