The Night Dad Got AWESOME.

I'll leave this little gem for comment. Maybe I should keep a copy or two next to the stuffed penguin.

Sad commentary.

ETA: I was actually referring to the existence of such a book. The Amazon comments are pretty good though...

I think it is age appropriate and he now understand the consequences of talking to the men in blue. I think he will be a more trustworthy boy now and good lookout because of this book

Possibly my favorite excerpt from the reviews:

"Where are the stained bunk beds? The blazing fluorescent lights? Where's the creepy bunny with the missing ear carving a swastika on the wall with a plastic spoon? Where's the toilet sangria? Where's the bunny snitch that gets shanked by a member of the Aryan Brotherhood?

Oh, the comments. What a gem.....

Quote:
This is as close to what I was looking for. I was hopping to find a book about "NO SNITCHING"
Seems my little Honey Bunnie took some of my boyfriends medical marijuana to his kindergarten show-and-tell.
The little stoolie even said I put the magic broccoli in cookies and brownies to make Tyrone (my boyfriend) happy.

Well Tyrone ain't happy now. He is going away for 3 years because he broke probation and I got 6 months house arrest. Not that I have to go out much, my customers can come to me but really! 6 months ?
WOW, with parents like these (I mean sperm and egg donors), what more could you ask for......Yet, not surprising...

First thing wrong with this is assuming that someone will buy this, not steal it, unless it's given out by community organizers. Second, you're assuming that whomever is supposed to be watching the crotchfruits is even literate enough to read it to them.

I may be a bit jaded here..........

I say that some milque-toast Dudley Do-Right with a Master of Arts in Counseling, Social Psychology, Criminal Justice, or some other mealy mush degree will see this book and expend tens of thousands of tax dollars buying them for distribution by patrol officers, investigating detectives, and the victims' rights crews.

You'l have to attend a minimum of eight hours of training and pass an examination in how to hand out this tome and in using the correct psychology in doing so.

I say that I am a bit more jaded.

You should have seen it before I edited out my second half.

I was pretty sure it might land me an infraction - so I took it out.

Don't say this too loud, as I can see a CALEA Policy in the making.....

Nothing surprises me in the publishing world anymore.

But the book gave me a chuckle. Some idiot out there will buy it for their kid.

I'm surprised the author isn't PT Barnum.
