AR15, 870, and two Glocks=$15,000 ???????

Ok the news said a number of times the Co. shooter spent $15,000 on his attacks. So I did the math.

S&W AR $1,000
Remington 870 $400
2 Glocks $600=$1200
6,000 rounds of ammo 3,000 5.56 =$1,050 3,000 .40 S&W $900.
SWAT outfit not sure about cost my guess $1,000

Total $5.550

Today they said he had homemade gernades and 10 gal. of gas.

How do they trun 5K into 15K?

This makes me not trust anything the media has to say.
Not that I did anyway.

The news is not interested in the truth. They only put out what will Shock a reader.

Don't know if it is true but on the radio today it was mentioned that he may have used funds from a FEDERAL grant that he had recieved to purchase such items!

He was wearing a vest, just not a bullet proof one.

I wouldn't mind a couple of 40mm GLOCKS.

That would be cool.

The guy's sizable online porn bill probably got mixed up in that number...

By the way, has anyone else also noticed the proliferation of the word "clip" in the mainstream reports?

That, and the repeated use of "assault rifle" in the news.

Although that WOULD explain how he spent 15 grand....

Journalists would be happy to report that more people are killed in massacres using legally acquired firearms than by career criminals, if it served their purposes of sensationalizing and selling newspapers.
