No worries. President Romney will only pick the best of the best. Checks and balances only slow things down. Nothing to see here.

Apparently the votes needed to pass it came from Team Mittens asking for it which turned enough GOPs to squeak it through.

Tell me again how the Republicans will hold their liberal president in check.

One or two more combined with executive orders and it should be complete.

I'm surprised this thread got any replies, what with the Chick Fil-A circus and all.

Pass the bill...and watch it die under judicial review as it violates the "advise and consent" powers of the Senate under the Constitution. Man politicians are morons...

They said the bill, which passed the Senate last summer, would help clear the backlog of stalled presidential nominations.
Maybe they should look into the reason there is a backlog.

Just to be clear, but not saying I agree with it, this doesn't apply to all appointments.

Insanity. Treat the symptom instead of cure the disease. I guess that Cantor Boehner (is that how it's spelled?) thing isn't working out so well.
