My next handgun purchase will most likely be a 9mm (drooling over the Beretta PX4). I may get a .357SIG barrel for my G23 but I don't count that as a full on handgun.

I'm torn between a .22 and a .45. Yeah, yeah, I know.

I've got 9mm, 357 Sig, 40 S&W, .45 ACP,
38 Special, 357 magnum, 44 Special & 44 Magnum.
My next gun will likely be a double stack compact 40.
HK P30 or Sig Sauer P229 Stainless Elite.
I'm kind of a Sig guy so...

Probably a .44 magnum. Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan.
My brother moved out West. I'll surely be out there backpacking/hiking again sometime (been to Tetons and Rocky Mtn NP a few times), and the family might be making a big trip to Alaska next summer.

Either another 10mm or a nine. Looking at a G29 or M&P 9 shield.

My guess? 9mm, or 10mm... or .357 Sig. Or .45 ACP. Maybe .22LR? Or how about 7.62x39?
Hell, I'll just get them all.

Keep looking G. I found one here in kommifornia @ an auction, $450 & glad to have it. No box, but mint condition & a nice shooter. It is my backpacking gun now & would certainly carry it in town w/ reduced LHP loads.

There is an auction house here that sells a lot of guns 3 times a year. Sometimes I get lucky & get what I want for what I want, sometimes there are buyers w/ more money than brains, like any auction. You will be opn my short list if I sell it G.

9mm. I find value in being able to simplify my ammo supply by having all of my handguns in one caliber (minus a mouse gun). I've slowly cycled everything that's not 9mm out of my handgun collection.

If I again buy a semi-auto, the caliber will be 9mm. When I buy another revolver, it will be a snub-nosed S&W K-frame in .38 Special or .38 Special/ .357 Magnum.

Given the lineup I have below, IF I ever buy another gun, it's going to be a real pretty 1911. Kinda jonesin' for a Ed Brown.

if I don't buy another 10mm then it will most likely be a .357 Sig. OR a .357 Sig conversion barrel for my Glock 20.

for me my next gun will probably be a S&W 1911 commander size with an alloy frame. I have glocks in .40 and 357sig but I also carry a combat commander. the alloy frame would lighten the load a bit.

Either a .45 LC SAA or a .22 LR Pardini. I'd like a new Bullseye gun & can't afford 'em both. We'll see.....

I've been pretty methodical and calculating about what I shoot and the ammo that I'll be running through it. Currently I only use 9mm, 40 S&W, 5.56 /223, 7.62 and 12g. I used to be more interested in light and hot pistol loads but Competition shooting has gotten me more interested in heavier, controllable loads. I shoot a lot of 147 gr from my G34 and a year ago if you asked me about 1911s I'd have responded with no interest. Now I want to give that a try in 45. I'll have to save but another class to shoot would be fun and the tradition, build and accuracy is impressive.
On the wilder side the FN Herstal Five-Seven looks like the gun of the future to me. That said with the proper $10 Pearce mag extension I can get 20 + 1 in my G34 and the best ammo is still a bargain by comparison.
Always playing the budget and "what if" game - not that I don't enjoy it. Eventually the next move will surface. Did I mention pistol caliber carbines???

9m or 10mm
I'm looking at a 9mm for teaching my NRA & CWP classes 19,17 or 34! The 10mm will be for hunting! I'm 95% 9mm at this point!

Part of me is thinking about a Freedom Arms 83 Premier grade 454 Casull for the spaz factor and the fact it's a thing of beauty.
The other part of me agrees with RedHaze.... I already load .45 Colt, but don't have a SAA / Model P replica.
Is it odd they're both single action wheelguns?
