Don't Criticize, Condemn or Complain.


If you do not like a procedure or practice, then you should be prepared to offer a workable alternative or solution.

Several forums on G/T have become complaint rooms. The GSSF Forum is an informational forum that should always be fun. We do a lot of good natured kidding, and that is in fun. Keep it fun!

If you have a good solution to a perceived problem, you should offer it to GSSF for consideration.

As GSSF members, we represent the smartest of GLock owners. Let us continue to display our intelligence and good manners.

Every match has it's problems. At Beckley, it was more shooters than the range could handle, even following correct procedure. Beckley's solution is to expand the range for next year. That is a workable solution. It's not easy shooting in a coal pit. At Conyers last year, the problem was that the number of entries exceeded the capability of the system software, and the problem was solved.

Many ranges are experiencing a shortage of RO's. It's not easy to get someone to volunteer to stand in the weather all day long for nothing but a thank you. Solution, encourage members to recruit members and friends to assist.

Every real problem has a workable solution. Perceived problems are a different story. In the meantime, follow established procedure.

Bottom line, learn the difference between chicken salad and chicken poop. Your digestive system will thank you.

Just fooling. I agree with some of what you are saying and see your viewpoint. I think most "complaints" are just discussions about things to see what others are experiencing, see if someone with experience can come up with ideas the "complainer" may not have thought about etc.

It may read like whining, but the intent may be to simply spur discussion.... On ... Gasp.... a discussion forum.


I don't think someone's dreaded C's are negated if they themselves don't know the solution. They may still be valid "C's". They are just hoping to elicit quality discussion in hopes of finding solutions they could not arrive at by themselves.


It may get tiresome for some of the guys who just wanna smile and joke and whatnot. But they can easily avoid those discussions, right?


That's my take at least. But I am sort of a contrarian by nature.
