Is the gen4 slide as tough as a gen3?

I'm thinking of thinking a picking up another g20. I picked up a 20sf late last year that I've really been shooting the crap out of. I'm around 10-11k rounds since I got it. About 80% of have been through a LW .40 barrel. I thinking of picking up another just to have as a backup and not really shoot. I could get a gen3 or 4. I've got tons of spare parts for my gen3 (like everything but a frame and slide) the gen4 slide where the RSa mounts looks real thin like it could be prone to cracking. I'm real happy with my gen3sf, should I just stay the same?

I'd stay with the generation 3.
