Beretta CX4 Storm

I picked up at Beretta CX4 Storm in 9mm yesterday. It's used but in great condition. It came with front rails, a front handle, a Tru-Glo red dot sight, heat shield on the barrel, and 4 mags (3 are 20 round and one is a standard 92F 15 round) and a 100 count box of Winchester White box ammo..and i got it all for $600....HOPE to get out and shoot it today if the rain stops...plan to make it my truck gun.

I've had two, very fun guns. I don't have a use for a PCCs though, so they moved on. Perfectly reliable, extremely accurate out to 150 yards, and very comfortable to shoot. Would kick ass SBRd down to the frame and threaded with a can.

Congrats! I always liked the CX4 Storm, but never got around to buying one. By the time I decided to buy one, they were discontinued.

I prefer the accuracy, ergonomics, reliability, and general package of the Cx4.

Then again I have a buttload of 15-18-20rd 92FS mags, so there's no conflict there.

I've had one for years. It has never missed a beat. With an Aimpoint, it has shot very well. For a PCC, it is a keeper.

Here's a video review by Hickok 45:

He did several video review of it and seemed to like it. Please excuse the Obama Ad if it still there.

I my opinion, the CX Storm is a very nice Carbine. I had one for a year. I bought one when they first came out. I found it to be very accurate and nice handling. I felt it was very comfortable to shoot and it offered nice options. A person can change it over to a left handed model if needed and you don’t have to have rails where you don’t want them.

I decided to sell it to buy an AR in 9mm. I think the Berretta Storm was slightly more accurate and in a smaller package.

Congrats on your purchase.

Nice rifle and Beretta would have sold the heck out of them if they would have made it take Glock and HK magazines to make it appeal better to the LE and civilian market.
Matter a fact it does not even take their own PX4 magazines!!!

It takes Beretta 92FS/M9 magazines which are amply available and a lot cheaper than HK mags, and a lot better than the junky Glock mag.

Which magazine is actually better does not even matter as much then the fact that there are properly more LE Glock's in CA alone then all LE Beretta's in the US!
These PD's would not switch out their Glock's for Beretta's, but maybe they would buy a CX4 if they could use the same magazines they use in their hand guns.
Specially the .45 people. Beretta 8 rounds; Glock has 13 in the G21 magazine.
How many Glock 21 are in LE hands? Plenty!!

If Beretta used a cradle in the CX4 grip which then would accommodate the different magazines Beretta would have had a big seller.

You got a hell of a deal because I'm about to sell mine and although it's virtually identical to the one you bought I'm not selling it with a trueglo sight and 100rounds of ammo.
