Passed on the G&A 1911 Annual this year

Saw it today at the store and automatically put it in the buggy. But, couldn't resist and had to start looking through it. Got to thumbing through it and realized that there was no way in hell that I was paying $9 for THAT! Not a single article that interested me. I was REALLY unimpressed with this year's magazine. Every year it is a great mag and has many great reads. This year is a true stinker. I don't think I'd have bought it if it was $3. Pretty sad. I look foward to that issue every year. Well, it saved me $9, that I used for a bag of deer corn to put in the feeder behind the house.

Mines been on the kitchen counter for a couple weeks and I've yet to open.

I have been admiring that cover pistol every time I walk by..

I don't think it was that bad, but you're right. $9 is really pricey for that. What I didn't like about it was that there were the same articles as last year...Turnbull, Christensen, etc.

I thought the Custom Edition was pretty good.

I wish I had looked, I paid for it and have to say that it was a waste of money. That was half a box of range ammo!
